Tracy Romey, MS, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified for Care Across the Lifespan
Tracy graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science from South Dakota State University. She attended USD in 1995 pursuing a master's degree in business administration. In 2013, Tracy Graduated from South Dakota State University and University of Missouri's psychiatric family nurse practitioner program. Tracy is Board certified by South Dakota's Medical and Nursing Boards for practice. She is also certified for psychiatric care by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Tracy has worked as a Psychiatric Nurse practitioner, providing care to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. She has provided mental health care for outpatients, inpatients, juvenile detention centers, telemedicine, telepsychiatry, nursing homes, assisted living centers, and patients who are incarcerated.
Tracy is an owner/operator on a cattle ranch in South Dakota along with her family. She has delivered psychiatric, mental health care for South Dakotans throughout the state and has committed her practice for South Dakotans.
She understands the Midwest mindset, South Dakota values, and the unique set of circumstances we share. South Dakotans are resilient, but often suffer alone or in silence. Tracy believes "There is a hope in every circumstance."
Ami Garrigan, MD
Dr. Ami Garrigan is a South Dakota native from Onida. Before pursuing medicine, she served as a Program Analyst with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and later as a Natural Resource Specialist in South Dakota. She completed her medical degree, residency, and fellowship training at the University of South Dakota.
Dr. Garrigan always knew she wanted to return to the Black Hills to begin her career.
“When exploring career opportunities in the region, Hot Springs stood out for several reasons—the natural beauty, its proximity to family, the community size, and most importantly, the people,” she said. “Being a member of the Fall River community since 2023, my goal remains the same: to support individuals in living meaningful lives filled with pride and purpose.”
